GCam for the OnePlus Nord 5

GCam OnePlus Nord 5Google Camera mods compatible with the OnePlus Nord 5, an affordable mid-ranger device released in 2025, powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and equipped with two rear cameras – a 50MP main sensor and a 8MP ultra wide – and a frontal 50MP sensor.

While the stock camera app is already capable of taking nice photos under some conditions, GCam mods are available and compatible with this phone. Below you can find some Pixel camera versions that are known to work with the Nord 5.

There are many versions that work with this phone due to it using a Snapdragon processor, including many listed on the stable versions page, but the following have configs available to them and so should be capable of extracting more from the hardware.

Hasli’s GCam 8.4:

A good version, you only have to install the apk file and load a config:

BigKaka’s GCam 8.4:

This is a port of EGOIST’s well known config, used by many Samsungs, ported to the Nord 5. On top of a config file, you also have to load a “lib” file. It’s simple, but slightly less “user friendly”, although results can be very good.

Notes:

If you’re a new user, it might be helpful to know that:

  • While video recording works, stability might still be better on the stock camera.
  • Slow motion usually doesn’t work well or at all with GCam mods.
  • Config files are settings. Someone configured GCam and shared their config(uration). This is useful as one person can find good settings and then users just have to load them instead of changing everything themselves. With this said, sometimes these settings have issues or tweak things in a way that won’t please every user.
