About config files:

  • Different phones need different settings. Config files allow users to quickly import (load) and export settings.
  • If GCam doesn't work well on your phone, try one of these configs created by the community. (See how to load config files.)
  • If more than one config is available, try the first one. If you're not happy, try the second one (and so on). There's no need to test all files.

Config tweaks for this model improving overall picture quality. The getaway improvement is on rear camera 1.0. I don't know settings selections transfer with config settings, so, the following link goes to a reddit post I created to help others begin the improvement process.

This is my first time contributing to this community, and my first time since maybe pixel 2 era since I've contributed to any communities. Please forgive my apparent noob energy.

This is the config that took me blood, sweat, and tears, thanks to the Samsung cooperation for blocking camera2api for the ultrawide and front camera.

This config isn't complete. I need your help. This config is best used for the default lens, but the ultrawide lens and front lens, I need your help, to figure out a way to make the image result not grainy and yellow (ykwim for Samsung A36 users give it a try). This config is not only just for you to use it, it's to spread awareness. Thank you so much for using my config.

Note20ultra.Snap.n986u.MGC9.6.xml

Samsung Note 20 Ultra Snapdragon the cameras are adjusted , the picture quality needs work when zoomed in but all cameras including front camera work.

s25u.xml

For BSG's 9.6 and Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. .

Base functioning configuration with working HDR+ enhanced for decent low lift, 4K 60fps video recording. 4K front camera video recording. There's an app bug that doesn't allow selfie pictures to be saved if you leave the main viewer on 1x sensor. This problem is fixed if you change using sensor 0 for sensor 56 but you will lose 4K 60fps video recording. It's an issue with Samsung using multiple camera sensors for different things, like how 8K video recording won't work without custom app software to use multiple sensors together. This works excellent for open, point and shoot with fantastic a image.

For BSG's 9.6 and Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. .

Device:
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra
Description:
Fully functional configuration for Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra (BSG 9.6).
Unlike standard files—which caused the app to freeze or crash on startup and led to focusing issues on the S26 Ultra—this configuration has been completely rebuilt and optimized on actual hardware:
Focus Fix: Corrected autofocus and laser AF drivers (enabled "Drop on Auto" and disabled "add IDLE focus"), eliminating blurriness at any distance.
Stability & Crash Fix: Adjusted module parameters to prevent the app from force-closing on the S26 Ultra.

Perfect Point-and-Shoot: Optimized visual output and instant sharpness, even with 15-frame HDR+.

BSG-MGC-9.6_Xiaomi-Mi8_Alberic_v1.5_Final.xml

For BSG's 9.6 and Xiaomi Mi 8. .

v1.0
Working 24 fps, 30 fps, 60 fps and 240fps slow mode.
Noise models configured for the three lenses.
Best Merge options selected for best result or the Main lens.
Max zoom defaulted to 8x for back lenses.
v1.1
Global exposition compensation optimized for hdr+ and hdr+ advanced so that dark zones are not crushed to black and recover information in shadows. It gives overall a photo filled with more light.
v1.2
- Optimized hdr+ and hdr+ advanced parameters for back lenses, v1.1 was too harsh and flattening.
- Switched Hdr+ advanced to Auto instead of 15 frames, since Auto does a good job adjusting frame numbers.
- Switched limited colors SRGB to extended colors Display P3, optimized saturation accordingly.
v1.2a
Fix: Stabilization was only working on preview for 30fps video, not on final file, and there was sometimes stutter at recording start
v1.2b
Fix: Videos were recorded H.264/AVC instead of H.265/HEVC even if the option was toggled
v1.3
- Reverted to SRGB, Display P3 colors needs a chain of apps and hardware that supports it and it's very limited. And when an app manage it correctly, the color shift is really hard.
- Calibrated saturation and hue in every lens with a palette, and pushed a little the settings to have vivid photos
v1.4
- Optimized Gamma and Tone Mapping instead of Global Exposure Compensation to get details in shadows and less black crushing
- Revised Saturation (too hard in good lighting conditions)
- Set Processing to High Quality (adds time to Enhanced Hdr+)

v1.5
- Sabre configured for 2nd lens and back lens
- Optimized Hdr+ advanced parameters to resolve black crushing instead of Gamma (pushing Gamma worked but was washing mid and high tones)
- Video settings put to High Quality for all lenses
- Put back Hdr+ enhanced to 15 frames instead of Auto to gain decision time of gcam before shoot and gain details in low light parts

K20_Pro_Ultimate.xml

For BSG's 9.6 and Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro. .

Heavy Stacking: Forces 25-frame HDR+ Enhanced to maximize dynamic range and eliminate shadow noise.

Super-Resolution: Uses Google Sabre and standard 1.0x sharpness to preserve fine micro-textures without adding artificial edge-sharpening halos.

Smart Denoising: Reduces luma noise smoothing to keep realistic skin/fabric texture while boosting chroma noise reduction (1.25x+) to erase shadow color blotches.

Color Accuracy: Uses Pixel 7 Pro color profiles and turns off Google AWB on the Ultra-Wide lens to eliminate yellow/green tints.

Highlight Protection: Applies a -0.3 EV exposure offset to keep bright skies and light sources from clipping to pure white.
